Nothing gets lost.

Every measurement — safely kept and back in seconds.

All measurement and sensor data lands in a safe place automatically. Nothing has to be copied by hand. You can reach old values any time — even years later, and in seconds instead of hours.

From everyday work

A customer asks for values from two years ago — and you have them in a minute

A complaint about an old batch. The old way: dig through binders, hunt for spreadsheets. Now you type the batch number and see the full history at once — every measurement, every parameter, gap-free. The customer gets their answer the same day.

How it fits together technically

A time-series database (historian) is the single source of truth: every value from the line is stored with a timestamp as a hypertable, compressed and retained long-term. Raw files and documents move in parallel into an S3-compatible object archive. Watchers and ETL keep everything current; ready-made analytical views resolve the raw references — so every analysis reads from the same truth, not from copies.

Technology used

TimescaleDB (hypertables)S3 object store (SeaweedFS)ETL / watcheranalytics views
